In this week’s HOT SPOT we find Adora with “Here We Go,” a very cool track that may have a little Jim Steinman meets Supertramp in it. The vocalists are Fran Sylver and Romi Alter, who seem to be from the Canary Islands (tho they met in London!)

In this week’s HOT SPOT is The Cool Greenhouse with their very unique song, “Alexa!”
We’ve never had a song about an amazon device before… There was something super-DEVO about the song and so funny – “Alexa, order a copy of Cool Green House’s new record” “Hey Google, play the song ‘Alexa’ by the cool greenhouse.” Kudo’s to Tom Greenhouse on his band and great track!

What harmonies on the track “In the Country” by La Luz. Their self-titled fourth album, La Luz, out on October 22 (same day as FUTURE PAST, natch!), show of the incredible talent of the female four piece. A review of their music called it ” “surf noir” style, with layered vocal harmonies.” We agree and that’s why it’s in the Hot Spot!

This is the second artist we have played that has an EP called WHOOSH (but why one O??).
Liz Lawrence has been performing for a while, always getting favorable reviews for her work. Her latest is The Avalanche and this track, “Down for Fun” is this week’s HOT SPOT!
